Synopsis
Set in the year 2052, Lazarus follows a task force of five agents from around the world, assembled to combat a global crisis. A miracle drug named Hapuna, initially celebrated for eliminating pain, reveals a deadly side effect: users die three years after ingestion.
The Lazarus team is tasked with locating the drug’s creator to develop a cure before time runs out. The series delves into themes inspired by real-world issues such as the opioid crisis and climate change.
